Edith Cavell Anniversary Walk (fund raising for Cavell Nurses Trust)

Nurse Edith Cavell was executed in 1915, by a German firing squad during World War I, for her role in assisting over 200 soldiers to escape from occupied Belgium.

I am leading fund raising guided walking tour for the Cavell Nurses' Trust in the grounds of the Royal London Hospital, East London, where Edith Cavell trained and worked as a nurse.

Meeting Point:  Outside the Entrance of Whitechapel Station (District, Hammersmith & City and East London Lines, Zone 2) Kindly note the Whitechapel Station entrance/ exit on Whitechapel Road is temporarily closed and only entrance/exit is on Court Street. I will be outside the entrance on Court Street and it's from here that the walk will start.

Cost:  If you would like to join the walk I request a £5 donation to  Cavell Nurses' Trust  which is payable either through my  Just Giving Page  or payable on the day. I will keep a list of those who have donated and please note places will be limited to 25 people.
